• Insurance and statutory protections: public liability insurance (minimum cover to be confirmed; typically up to R10,000,000+); COIDA certificate.
• Financial viability: recent audited/independently reviewed financial statements for three consecutive years; MBD5 where applicable; alignment between MBD5 and cited financials.
• Additional due diligence: certified copies of documents (IDs, company certificates) certified by a Commissioner of Oaths within 3 months; proof of municipal rates/taxes for the business and directors; lease agreements if applicable.
• Compliance safeguards: anti-fraud measures, adherence to SCM processes, and absence from the Register of Bid Defaulters.
• Compulsory briefing: attendance at the mandatory briefing session (10 June 2026).
