Overview

Appointment of a service provider to operate four accredited shared chemical and detergent manufacturing and training centres in KwaZulu-Natal province for 36 months. Open to bidders with expertise in chemical manufacturing operations, training delivery, curriculum management and SME incubation, with certifications such as CHIETA (where applicable), SABS/quality standards, VAT, SARS tax clearance, COIDA where applicable, and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with tax status verified.

Requirements

• Registration on the National Treasury CSD and good standing with SARS (PIN/e-filing) or provide CSD number; separate TCS/PIN for joint ventures/sub-contractors; VAT compliance.
• CHIETA accreditation where applicable; adherence to SABS standards and, where relevant, SANS 22716 for waste, effluent and handling.
• Tax clearance status; COIDA accreditation where applicable; SARS e-filing PIN.
• Compulsory briefing attendance; use of official bid forms (SBD7, etc.) and submission of required authority documents.
