Overview

Appointment of a service provider to plan, co-ordinate, manage and implement the Bergrivier Jazz Festival (Velddrif, 3 October 2026). Open to competent event-management service providers with proven experience in major public events, capable of supplying full event infrastructure, technical production, artist coordination, catering, security, logistics, and on-site coordination; with compliance to OH&S, BBBEE, tax and supplier registration requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in organising major public events.
• Capacity to provide all required event infrastructure and technical services.
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable laws; provide relevant structural, electrical and safety certificates.
• Ensure infrastructure is erected prior to the event and removed afterwards; provide qualified technical personnel.
• Must be registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) and supply Tax Compliance Status PIN/CSD number; VAT status as applicable.
• Complete the Preferential Points claim form (PPPFA) for 80/20 or 90/10 system; provide BBBEE status or sworn affidavit; local/regional preference goals.
• Submit three written references for similar events; provide recent municipal accounts for company and directors; include an original tax clearance or TCS PIN and CSD details.
• Include all standard bids documentation (MBD1, MBD3.2 pricing, MBD4, MBD6.1 BBBEE, MBD7.1 contract form, MBD8/9/10 where applicable) and annexures.
