Overview

Procurement of a service provider to procure and deliver equipment to rural cooperatives and small-scale farmers within the City of Mbombela. Eligible bidders are service providers in agricultural equipment and related logistics who can procure, stock, deliver and hand over or demonstrate equipment, with appropriate compliance (B-BBEE, tax clearance, CSD registration).

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN and SARS tax compliance status.
• Full Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration report (not older than 30 days).
• Certified company registration document and certified IDs for directors.
• Current municipal rates and taxes statement for the business and for all directors (or approved alternatives for tribal/residence arrangements).
• Certified copy of B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE options allowed).
• Compliance documents for joint ventures/consortia (separate TCS/CSD for each party).
• COIDA certificate where applicable; proof of no municipal arrears.
• Evidence of address consistency between CSD and company registration; lease agreements if applicable.
• Not in service of the state and not on the Register for Tender Defaulters.

How to Apply

• Download bid documents from the City of Mbombela website or etenders (from 3 July 2026) (COM66/2026 Advert.pdf; COM66/2026 Supply of Equipment….pdf).
• Prepare and submit a sealed bid in the tender box at Mbombela Civic Centre, 1 Nel Street, Mbombela, before 11:00 on 17 July 2026 (no late submissions; no email/telegram/fax submissions) (Invitation details).
• Include: Tax Clearance PIN, CSD full report, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates/tax proof, company registration, director IDs, COIDA where applicable, and all returnable documents (MBD forms and pricing schedules) (MBD forms are part of the attached bid package).
