Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the procurement of photocopy paper for eThekwini Region. Bidder eligibility targets photocopy paper suppliers capable of delivering in the region and with required South African regulatory registrations (CSD, SARS tax compliance) and B-BBEE considerations (EME/QSE affidavits) to qualify for preferential points.

Requirements

• Administrative compliance: correctness of bid document and registration with CSD and other prescripts.
• Registration and compliance: register on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide tax clearance status (PIN) or CSD number.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD; ensure VAT registration where applicable.
• B-BBEE: if claiming points for specific goals, submit EME or QSE sworn affidavit/certification.
• Bid documentation: submit official SBD forms and the Firm Pricing Schedule (see Pricing Schedule in the attached document).
• Tender conditions: comply with PFMA SCM Regulations, GCC, and any special conditions; note the right to not award to the lowest bidder.
• Submission format: bids must be on official forms; no post/telecom submissions accepted.

• Submission method: physically deposit in the bid box at 455A King Cetshwayo Highway, Mayville (Durban). Late or non-hand-delivered bids are not accepted.
