Overview

Procurement of raw materials for Gamalakhe Detergent, to be supplied by a service provider for Ithala Development Finance Corporation. This is an open tender targeting suppliers of listed chemical and packaging materials; bidders should have capacity to supply the specified items in the Pricing Schedule.

Requirements

• Be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and be in good standing with SARS (provide PIN/TCS as applicable).
• If bidding as a consortium/JV/sub-contractors, each party must submit separate TCS/PIN/CSID.
• If no TCS/PIN is available, provide a CSD number.
• Complete and sign SBD 1 (with resolution if not a sole proprietor) and SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest);SBD 7 contract may be required.
• Not be in the service of the state or have Directors who are; comply with ethics and SCM rules.
• Pricing evaluated under PPPFA rules (80/20 or 90/10) with preference points for specific goals:
  • ≥51% Black Ownership; ≥51% Women Ownership; ≥51% Youth Ownership; ≥51% People living with disability (each up to 5 points).
• Administrative compliance: submit by the stipulated time on official forms; late submissions rejected.

• Submission method: Hand delivery to Ithala Trade Centre or email to quotes@ithala.co.za (bids deposited in the Bid Box).
• Documents to submit: official bidding forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1), pricing schedule, tax/CS documents, and any consortium details; include proof of authority to sign.
• Pre-qualifications: register on CSD; provide SARS PIN/TCS (or CSD number if no TCS); PCI requirements apply.
