APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE PROVISION, INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION AND SUPPORT OF SECURITY INCIDENT MANAGEMENT APPLICATION (SIEM) FOR A TERM OF 36 MONTHS

Overview

Procurement of a service provider to provision, install, configure and support a Security Incident Management Application (SIEM) for a term of 36 months. Open-tender by Inkomati Catchment Management Agency (IUCMA). Suitable for ICT security/SIEM integrators with incident management capabilities; bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with tax and data protection requirements; compulsory online briefing; bids sealed and submitted in Mbombela.

Requirements

• CSD and tax compliance: register on CSD with Master Registration Number; provide SARS PIN or TCS certificate; if a consortium, each party must provide separate TCS/PIN or CSD number.
• Returnable documents: complete SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Pricing Schedule (Annexure A1), Administrative/Mandatory/Technical Responsiveness Checklist.
• Compliance and governance: POPI Act declaration; confidentiality undertakings; fronting precautions; data ownership that IUCMA retains.
• Contracting: will require a Service Level Agreement; may require a performance security; adherence to GCC/SCC as applicable.
• Briefing/submission: compulsory briefing (Teams); no late submissions; bids must be in one original copy, handwritten, bound, and deposited in the bid box by 11:00 on closing.
• Other: no fax/email submissions; bids must be valid for 120 days; tax matters must be in order; non-compliance may invalidate bid.
