Overview

Appointment of a service provider for a security service for a period of 6 months at Free State. Open to security service providers with appropriate qualifications, including tax/compliance checks, B-BBEE status, and the ability to deploy security personnel and infrastructure. Compulsory briefing and a price ceiling up to R500,000 apply.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN or a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate, or CSD number; separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• B-BBEE: provide B-BBEE status verification (or sworn affidavit) and be eligible for points.
• Operational capability: approved premises with necessary infrastructure and accreditation by the relevant body; due diligence site visit may be conducted.
• Contract terms: SLA to be concluded; supplier performance management scorecard required.
• Documentation: complete Annexure A, B, C, F, G, H, I; sign SBD7 if awarded.
• Subcontracting/joint ventures: proof of subcontracting arrangements if applicable.
• Compliance framework: adherence to GCC, POPIA, and SAWS procurement conditions; preferences apply (80/20).
