Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply catering for the Cape Winelands District Municipality’s 16 Days of Activism launch. The RFQ invites bids from caterers capable of event catering and related services, in line with CWDM SCM policies and B-BBEE considerations.

Requirements

• Registration on CWDM Accredited Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database (update every 12 months).
• Completed Formal Written Price Quotation in BLACK ink; no corrections with Tippex; original document returned; signed by an authorised signatory with board/authorisation resolution.
• B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit as applicable to claim points.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Clearance Pin and VAT registration as required by contract value; ensure tax matters are in order.
• CIDB registration (if applicable) and up-to-date municipal accounts as proof of financial standing.

• Deadline: 28 October 2026 at 11:00. Documents can be submitted as formal quotations; validity period 180 days.
• Submission method: sealed envelope placed in the official tender box at CWDM, 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch (as per A).
