Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE PROVISION OF DESKTOPS, LAPTOPS AND ACCESSORIES, INCLUDING WARRANTY AND SUPPORT FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS. Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA) invites bids from ICT hardware suppliers with OEM/distributor accreditation to supply new laptops, desktops, monitors and peripherals, including a central device-management portal and three-year warranty and support.

Requirements

OEM/distributor accreditation for all proposed brands (mandatory).
Annexure A completed with YES for all scope requirements (mandatory).
Company experience: minimum of three signed client reference letters or full Annexure B with 1-7 details.
Equipment must be brand-new, original OEM, not refurbished.
Deliverables include a three-year OEM warranty and a cloud device-management portal.
Demonstrate compatibility of dual-screen accessories and provide a central management portal.
6-week delivery window from PO with delivery notes signed; include serial numbers.
48-hour repair/replacement turnaround; on-site or within 50 km radius; otherwise arrange return to TCTA.
BBBEE compliance (SANAS-accredited certificate or valid EME/QSE affidavit).
Supplier vetting and compliance with bid conditions; irregularities may lead to disqualification.

Briefing: non-compulsory, 20 October 2026, 10:00 via Microsoft Teams (link in RFB).
Submission deadline: 6 November 2026, 11:00; hand deliver to The Receiving Officer, TCTA, 1st Floor, Building 9, Byls Bridge Office Park, Centurion.
Submission method: One envelope system – Technical & Financial Proposal; 1 original hard copy + 1 USB copy.
Documents to submit: Annexures A–I (A: compliance, B: company experience, C: pricing, D–I as listed); SBDs; BBBEE/affidavits; CVs where required.
Registrations/pre-qualifications: National Treasury Central Supplier Database (non-mandatory; recommended); tax compliance status required if requested.
