Overview

Appointment of a service provider for hoist maintenance services for five years at ATNS FAGG (George Airport) and its associated remote site, on an as-and-when-required basis. Bidders should have hoist/maintenance expertise and hold relevant registrations (CIDB 2ME or higher or 2SI or higher), plus compliance credentials (LMI, ECSA, COIDA, SARS, CIDB, CSD). The contract is ad-hoc/maintenance-focused across ATNS George and remote sites, with potential AD-HOC work at FAPE and FAEL.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 2ME or higher or 2SI or higher, with proof of registration and active status.
• Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI) with ECSA registration; valid LMI approval under OHS/DMA regulations.
• COIDA (Letter of Good Standing) or recognized Mutual Association policy.
• SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) valid for 60 days from submission, plus CSD registration (proof or application).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; provide CSD number or proof of application.
• Two contactable reference letters for hoist maintenance/crane/electrical hoist replacements, completed within the last 7 years.
• Documentation to support CIDB, CIPC, shareholder certificates, and ID copies of shareholders; valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs).
• Completion of bidding documents (SBD 1, SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and pricing in the prescribed formats.
• Potential ATNS-specific goals: claim points for 51% Black Owned and 30% Black Woman Owned status with supporting evidence.
