Overview

Procurement of a service provider to supply ongoing support and maintenance for SAWS’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) system, including compute, storage, and related software components. Bidders should have HPC maintenance experience, OEM accreditation capabilities, and the ability to deliver a 15-month maintenance arrangement with SLA and site-due-diligence capabilities (as per the attached SAWS HPC tender). Mandatory briefing and electronic submission via the eTender platform are required.

Requirements

• Proven HPC maintenance experience with capability to support Cray/XC30 and Lustre storage environments; OEM accreditation verification required. (Annexure A, Annexure H)
• Compliance with SAWS General and Special Conditions of Contract; readiness to enter SLA and supplier performance framework. (Annexure B, 1.18)
• Tax and supplier status: SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number; original SARS tax clearance if applicable; POPIA consent. (Annexure A, Annexure i)
• B-BBEE status and relevant documentation; pricing and technical responses as required (Annexure C, Annexure F, Annexure G, Annexure H).
