APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE REFURBISHMENT OF MEMBERS’ OFFICES AT THE JOHANNESBURG CITY HALL BUILDING FOR THE GAUTENG PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) MONTHS.

Overview

Appointment of a service provider to refurbish approximately 80 MPL offices in the Johannesburg City Hall for the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, for a three-month period. Eligible bidders are SA-based firms with CIDB GB class 3 (or higher) registration, COIDA registration, and Safety Practices, and must comply with GPL SCM policies and SA regulations. Heritage-sensitive refurbishment experience and PHRA-compliance are key due to the building’s status.

Requirements

• Mandatory documents (submit all): Full Technical Proposal (hard copy + USB), SBD1, SBD3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1, copy of company registration, IDs for directors, company profile, CIDB GB 3GB+, COIDA proof, Safety Practices, JV/Consortium documents if applicable.
• Compliance and eligibility: Tax compliance (SARS PIN or CSD number), CSD registration, GPL security clearance as required, confidentiality agreement.
• Project-specific: Proof of SACPCMP registration for the Project Manager and Health and Safety Officer; minimum three traceable reference letters; BOQ complete; heritage/conservation awareness for PHRA compliant works.
• Subcontracting: GPL may approve subcontracting up to 25%; JV/Consortium documents must be complete and compliant.
• Additional: Health and safety file, Public Liability Insurance, and adherence toMISS/OSS security requirements.
