Appointment of a service provider for the replacement of generator x2 batteries and replacement of UPS

Overview

The Council for Medical Schemes seeks bids for the supply, replacement, installation, testing and commissioning of two generator batteries and a modular UPS system. Experienced electrical contractors with UPS/generator experience, CIDB registration, OEM authorisation for UPS products, and compliance with tax, SBDs and B-BBEE are invited to bid.

Requirements

• Registered electrical contractor with DoEL, ECA(SA) or ECB (valid on closing)
• CIDB Registration Level 1+ in EB and/or EP
• OEM letter/certificate confirming authorised UPS resale in SA
• Two recent references for UPS/generator installation or maintenance (not older than 5 years)
• Complete project plan showing coordination with CMS IT, installation date, downtime, and business continuity
• CIDB registration proof and tax compliance (SARS PIN or CSD number)
• Submit SBD1, SBD4, and SBD6.1; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE)
• Site inspection, delivery, installation, commissioning, and testing requirements as specified
