APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE SCANNING AND TESTING OF A SLAB AT CENTRAL OFFICE, SOUTH CAPE TVET COLLEGE

Appointment of a service provider for scanning and testing of a slab at the Central Office, South Cape TVET College. This RFQ covers non-destructive and drilling-based concrete assessment (Schmidt hammer tests, GPR/concrete scanning) on the first-floor slab at the Central Office in George, with a detailed test report and, where necessary, designs for strengthening the slab, plus disposal of testing materials. The bidder should be a lab/testing firm with concrete testing, NDT, and structural assessment capabilities, and experience in slab scanning and strengthening design.

Requirements include: valid tax clearance/PIN, SARS tax status verification, CSD registration (or tax clearance), BBBEE certification, CIPRO/company registration, latest municipal account or lease, and 1–2 reference letters for slab scanning/testing; completion of all SBD forms and the price declaration; and compliance with contract general conditions. Site briefing is not required.
