Overview

Procurement of a service provider to supply and deliver 38 mm crushed stone aggregate. Open-tender by Stellenbosch Municipality (tender no. B/SM 124/26). Suitable for suppliers in aggregate/materials, civil construction, and delivery/logistics with capability to supply and transport 38 mm stone. Tender documents are issued with a 180-day validity after closing.

Requirements

• Subject to General Conditions of Contract (GCC/JBCC/FIDIC/CIDB/NEC) and Stellenbosch SCM policies, plus the 80/20 Preferential Procurement Policy (Price 80, BBBEE 10, Locality 10).
• Tenderers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate or PIN; if no TCS, provide a CSD number; see Part B for foreign bidder requirements.
• Complete and submit all required administrative and technical forms (e.g., MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 10, OHSA, indemnity, pricing schedule, declaration) as specified in the tender package.
• Sealed tenders must be deposited before closing time in the Town House Complex tender box; late tenders are not considered.

• Submission method: Sealed envelope clearly marked with the tender number, deposited in the Stellenbosch Municipality tender box 24 hours; hard copies available at SCM Unit.
• Documents to complete and submit: Use official tender forms and pricing schedules; include MBDs, OHSA certificate, indemnity, Pricing Schedule, Declaration by Tenderer, and Authority to Sign (see Part A/B).
• Pre-qualification/registrations: CSD registration; SARS TCS/PIN; for consortia/JVs, each party must provide its own TCS/PIN or CSD. (Part B)
