Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of eight galvanised gabion baskets (six 2Mx1Mx1M and two 1Mx1Mx1M) to EKZNW Didma Reserve, Cathedral Peak. Bidders should be specialists in galvanised gabion baskets with ability to meet strict material specs (SANS BS EN 10244-2; 240 g/m2 zinc, 2.7 mm mesh wire, 2.2 mm lacing wire) and delivery to the Cathedral Peak site. Requirements

• Technical specs: 6 x 2Mx1Mx1M baskets with a centre division; 2 x 1Mx1Mx1M baskets; double-twisted mesh 80x100 mm; mesh wire 2.7 mm; lacing wire 2.2 mm; galvanised coating Class A heavy (min 240 g/m2), compliant with SANS 675/BS EN 10244-2; a technical data sheet must accompany the quote. • Delivery: to EKZNW Didma Nature Reserve, Cathedral Peak (coordinates provided in the RFQ).
• Compliance and pre-qualifications: provide SBD 1, SBD 3.1 pricing, SBD 4 disclosure, SBD 6.1 preference claim; proof of authority (e.g., company resolution); CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (optional but preferred).
• Contract terms: once-off supply; delivery within NRF framework; compliance with NRF GCC/SCC; health and safety requirements (COID Act, Section 37.2, safety plan) and indemnities.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference points system; price and preference, with minimum technical compliance required.
