Overview

The SALDANHA BAY Municipality invites bids for the supply and delivery of fire service furniture, equipment and appliances. Bidders should have proven experience in supplying fire service or related furniture/equipment, hold relevant CIDB registration where applicable, and meet tax, B-BBEE, and local procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Proof of experience in supply and delivery of fire service furniture/equipment (not older than 3 years; at least two completed contracts).
• CIDB registration and grading certificate where applicable.
• Tax compliance: valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS letter; CSD registration and tax status.
• B-BBEE status: verifications certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Municipal accounts or proof of locality to support locality points; proof of property ownership/lease where required.
• Authorized signatory: board/resolution authorizing signatory to submit the bid.

• Submission: sealed envelope to TENDER BOX, Ground Floor, Investment Centre, 15 Main Road, Vredenburg; ensure marking with tender number and description.
• Deposit/collection: documents downloadable from etenders.gov.za or collected from Mrs. R. Farmer; non-refundable deposit of R306.00 if collecting (see document).
• Registrations: register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with VAT as required; CIDB and tax-clearance documentation must be provided.
• Invoices: follow VAT invoicing requirements if contract value exceeds R2.3 million (see document).
