Appointment of a service provider for the Supply and Delivery of Personal Protective Clothing for Professional Services at Midlands Regional Office. The contract covers PPE clothing (hi-visibility shirts, jackets, pants, boots, hats) and related branding/embroidery for Midlands Regional Office. Bidders should be PPE/safety apparel suppliers capable of supply and delivery to Ladysmith. The process requires CSD/tax compliance and BBEE documentation; the department may not award to the lowest bidder. (Bid doc 1)

Requirements

• Administrative compliance: correct bid documents and compliance with bid regulations (CSD and prescripts). Phase 2 includes specific goals with points. (Bid doc 1)
• Specific goals and points: Ownership by Black People (10 points) and Ownership by People living with Disabilities (10 points) with documentary proof (sworn affidavit; medical certificate and ID copies). 80/20 or 90/10 preference system applies; total 100 points. (Bid doc 1)
• Registration and tax: register on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide tax compliance status (SARS PIN) or CSD number; BBEE status verified via certificate or sworn affidavit. (Bid doc 1)
