Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply and deliver six digital precision balances to the NRF SAEON-EFTEON for laboratory and field measurements. The NRF seeks bids from suppliers of high-accuracy balances capable of outdoor field use and laboratory weighing, with compliance to NRF procurement requirements (SBD forms, CSD, SARS tax status, BBBEE).

Requirements

• Six digital precision balances meeting detailed specifications (1 kg capacity minimum; readability 0.01 g or better; rugged field/lab design; backlit display; tare; grams plus additional units; USB and RS-232; AC adapter; rechargeable battery; protective case; wind shield; level feet; stainless steel pan; calibration certificate and weights; manuals; warranty; delivery time and costs).
• Delivery to SAEON National Office, 211 Nana Sita Street, Pretoria 0002; all units with delivery cost included.
• Documentation: product brochure (M); detailed specifications; pricing on SBD 3.1 (or company letterhead); delivery schedule.
• Administrative/compliance: fully completed SBD 1 (including SBD 4 and SBD 6.1); SBD 3.1 pricing; proof of authority (company resolution); proof of CSD registration; valid BBBEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit; SARS Tax PIN or TCS; CSD number if no TCS.
• Safety/health: compliance with OHS Act; COID Act good standing; safety/induction requirements; indemnity and safety plan as applicable.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price/preference; BBBEE-specific goals (BBBEE status, black-owned, female-owned, youth-owned, disabilities) with supporting BBBEE documentation required to claim points.
