Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2EP or higher.
• Key personnel (Stage 1A): 1 Electrician with trade test, Wiremen licence, 2 Qualified flagmen.
• Mandatory registrations/compliance: Tax Clearance/ SARS PIN, CSD registration number, COIDA Good Standing (Letter), signed Joint Venture/Consortium if applicable.
• Returnable documents: ALL RFP documentation, Briefing Session Attendance Form, Closing/Submission Register.
• Specific goals: B-BBEE level 2 or higher and at least 51% Black Owned to claim specific goals points; provide B-BBEE certificate or affidavit.
• Safety/quality: Safety file, site access permit compliance, and compliance with Occupational Safety Act; warranty of 1 year on installed items; compliance with PRASA’s general terms and penalties (e.g., site access, train delays).
• Technical scope: Supply and install 13m high masts with four 500W LED lights; lightning protection; distribution/circuit equipment; trenching and serviceability arrangements; maintenance/handing-over procedures.
• CIDB/technical: CIDB 2EP; proof of track record for similar lights installation; detailed CVs/certificates for key personnel.
