Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply and support ComWare-based Ethernet switches for three years, with a two-year extension option. Bidders should be OEM partners/authorized resellers for ComWare-based equipment, able to supply and support, and capable of meeting Sentech’s process (two-envelope bid, admin responsiveness) and requirements (tax, BBBEE, CIDB where applicable).

Requirements

• Official partner/agent/reseller of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) (23.1.1).
• Confirm that the offered Ethernet switches run the ComWare network operating system (23.1.2).
• Confirm all equipment offered will be supported for a minimum of 5 years from purchase date (23.1.3).
• Provide at least one customer reference for successful implementation (23.1.4).
• Compliance with tax, CIDB (where applicable), PFMA/PPPFA, and anti-corruption rules.
• Acceptance of a two-envelope bid process (technical and financial) and mandatory returnable documents (per List of Returnable Documents).

• Submission method: either via the Sentech eTender Portal or hand delivery to Sentech, Radiokop Honeydew. For manual submissions, Envelope One (Technical) and Envelope Two (Financial) must be separate; both placed in one outer envelope. (see Tender Data and SBD1)
• Documents to complete/submit: all returnable documents listed in the List of Returnable Documents (Envelope 1: Technical Proposal; Envelope 2: Financial Proposal).
