Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the supply, delivery and installation of the operating system on the GPU server (Linux-based OS such as Ubuntu) for SAEON Fynbos, Cape Town. Bidders should be ICT/hardware and OS-installation specialists with capability to deliver on-site, meet the GPU server specs, and comply with SA public sector procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Fully completed Procurement Invitation (SBD 1) including SBD 4, 6.1 and Bid Submission Certificate; proof of authority (e.g., company resolution). (RFQ For Fynbos Server_ (1).pdf)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS, e-Filing proof, or CSD registration; separate certificates for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and supply of the Master Supplier Number.
• BBBEE: valid certificate or sworn affidavit; specific goals points claimed if applicable.
• Specification eligibility: must meet the GPU server OS install scope and deliver the required Linux OS (pre-installed Ubuntu) and related installation services.
• Pricing: detailed pricing using SBD 3.1; include delivery to 8th Floor, The Towers, Hertzog Blvd, Foreshore, Cape Town 8001.
• Health and safety: comply with OHS Act; provide COID/insurance where applicable; site induction.
