Overview

Supply, delivery and off-loading of safety nets (upper nets) underlined by debris netting (shade cloth) for steel bulk waste containers, on an as-needed basis for a 12-month period. Bidders should have experience with waste-container safety-net systems, SABS-compliant nets, and delivery to Pretoria West; must be on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and have a valid tax clearance PIN.

Requirements

• Category A: nets for 4, 6, 11 and 12 m3 containers; size 3m x 6m; high-strength polypropylene; UV-protected; specified rope/border/mesh specs.
• Category B: nets for 20 m3 and 22 m3 containers; size 4m x 7m; same general materials and specs.
• Nets must be SABS-compliant; provide certificates if ordered; samples may be requested (cost borne by bidder); 12-month guarantee.
• Delivery and off-loading to Waste Management Depot, 1 Von Wielligh Street, Pretoria West; delivery within 14 days after PO.
• Records, reporting and contract management as per project manager; potential price adjustments by the City.
• Documentation: MBD1, MBD4, MBD5/6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9; returnable documents including Company Registration, Tax Clearance or PIN/CSD, BBBEE, municipal rates, and, if applicable, audited financial statements.
• Evaluation: Stage 1 administrative, Stage 2 mandatory requirements, Stage 3 80/20 Preferential Points (price and specific goals) with BBBEE/ownership proofs required to claim points.
