Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the supply, implementation, and support of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and internal network firewalls over five years. This opportunity targets ICT/cybersecurity professionals with proven WAF and enterprise firewall experience, OEM certifications or authorisations, and compliance with SA public-procurement prerequisites (tax clearance, CSD, CIPC, BBBEE).

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing attendance and trackable attendance records.
• Minimum 3 enterprise client references for similar WAF deployments (within 5 years), on client letterhead with verifiable contact details; submitted with tender.
• OEM certification/authorisation proving the bidder is certified to implement and support the proposed WAF and internal firewall solution.
• Demonstrable compliance with technical and functional requirements (substantiated by the solution’s technical manual).
• Tax compliance status (SARS PIN) valid for the full tender validity period.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) report, CIPC documents, shareholder certificates, and ID copies of shareholders; valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs).
• SBD 3.3 Pricing Schedule and SBD 6.1 Preference Points forms; CSD/CIPC/Shareholders documents, IDs, and POPIA consent where applicable.
• Registration on required supply databases and submission of all bid documents in two parcels (administrative/mandatory; pricing/points).
• Deployment scope includes 4 WAFs in HA at Bruma & OR Tambo and 16 internal firewalls in HA across eight sites (per Section 3.3). (See Volume 1A for full details.)

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 13 November 2026, 14:00 CAT.
• Submission method: National Treasury e-Submission (e-Tender) system; or hard-copy parcel submission to ATNS Bruma office. Email submissions are not accepted.
• Mandatory briefing: 15 October 2026, 12:00 CAT via Microsoft Teams (Meeting ID and link in Volume 1A).
• Documents to submit (Parcel A: Administrative/Mandatory; Parcel B: Pricing/Specific-Goals): SBD 3.3; SBD 6.1; CSD report; CIPC documents; Shareholder certificates; shareholder IDs; valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; SARS Tax Clearance; OEM authorisation letter if distributor; POPIA consent.
