Overview

GPW invites bids for the supply, installation and commissioning of two complete Forensic Document Examination systems, with five years of on-site maintenance and support. Bids from RSA-based suppliers with OEM authorization, local RSA support, ISO 9001 certification, and Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration are appropriate; the contract will include training, warranty and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications and compliance
  • Submit a price offer.

  • Include compulsory briefing session certificate and current ISO 9001 certification.
  • Tax compliance: SAPS PIN/TCS or printed Tax Clearance if required.
• Administrative/registration documents

  • Provide CSD number and proof of registration; include joint venture documentation if applicable.
• Technical/operational capability
  • Two complete forensic systems (including Workstation, Computer, Microscope) and all required hardware/software per Annexure One; heavy-duty, RSA-supported with local spare parts.
  • On-site training, Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) planning; five-year warranty and five-year maintenance with OEM-aligned support.
  • OEM/authorized service capability, spare parts stock, OEM-trained engineers, and transfer of maintenance knowledge.
• Evaluation
  • 80/20 price-preference scoring; specific goals for BBBEE ownership and demographics (Black ownership 8, Women 6, Youth 4, Disability 2).
