Overview

Supply of Core and CPE Routers to support Sentech’s network integration (2000 CPE routers and 115 core routers). This is an Open-Tender for a service provider to supply specified router hardware, with two-envelope evaluation (technical then financial). Target bidders: network equipment suppliers capable of delivering core and CPE routers that meet the mandatory technical specs and the broader procurement rules (GCC/SCC, BBBEE, tax/compliance). Requirements

• Ability to supply the specified Core and CPE routers matching the mandatory technical criteria (detailed in Tender Data 23.1–23.2) and to pass a risk assessment.
• Compliance with General and Special Conditions of Contract; signed Contract Data; performance security within 30 days of award.
• Tax and regulatory compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status or CSD registration; no disqualifying affiliations; foreign or local supplier tax obligations as applicable.
• Complete all returnable documents (e.g., SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 5, SBD 6.1, board/joint-venture resolutions, etc.) and adhere to the two-envelope submission format.
• BBBEE: provide valid BBBEE certificate; comply with transformation plans if requested.
• Warranty, delivery, penalties, and dispute resolution as per GCC/SCC (documented in General Conditions of Contract; Contract Data).
• Vendor risk considerations include background checks and potential disqualification for non-compliance or corrupt practices.
