Overview

The tender is for the appointment of a service provider for the supply of CRR Heating Blankets. It targets providers with engineering/manufacturing capability to design and deliver Coil Retaining Ring (CRR) heating blankets for Eskom Rotek, including complex generator preservation blankets sized to various rotor configurations (SOW references multiple rotor sizes; see CRR CRR Heating Blanket contract doc for specifics).

• Experience in generator preservation systems, heating blankets, and related electrical/mechanical fitments.
• Ability to meet safety, QA, and environmental standards (ISO/OHSAS/EMC/LVD) and local content requirements.

Requirements

• Eligibility: no business restrictions with Eskom/SOI, single bid per supplier, no conflicting interests.
• Compliance: Eskom OHS/legal/quality regime (SHEQ, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001) and Eskom Plant Safety Regulations.
• Tender documentation: complete mandatory annexures and SBD forms; Local Content declarations if applicable (Annexures C–G; SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2; Annexures H–J; see ITT).
• Quality/Documentation: evidence of QMS, test/inspection documentation, and technical documentation as per tender returnables (CRR Heating Blankets Tender Returnables Cat 3 Rev 7).
• Pricing/Scope: pricing schedule for CRR blankets; compliance with Scope of Work (CRR Blanket specs and dimensions per design).
