Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the supply, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of MCC and associated electrical control infrastructure at Bela-Bela Wastewater Treatment Works – SCADA Implementation Phase 1A. Open to suitably qualified construction contractors with CIDB 1 EB or higher (category) and relevant electrical/SCADA experience (see TENDER_SCADA BB WWTW.pdf).

Requirements

• CIDB registration: 1 EB or Higher (category). Joint ventures require consolidated CIDB grading.
• Tax clearance: valid SARS Tax Clearance PIN/TCS or evidence of arrangements; separate certificates for joint ventures.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and proof; Workmen’s Compensation good standing.
• Returnable documents: company registration, directors’ IDs, joint venture agreements (if applicable), rates/taxes, lease evidence if applicable, CIDB proof.
• Compliance: no disqualifying factors (e.g., state service connections, bid defaulter status, arrears >90 days, corrupt practices); adherence to SCM policy and Preferential Procurement Regulations.
• Contract documentation: Form of Offer and Acceptance, MBD forms (1, 2, 4, 6.1, 7.2, 8, 9) completed; Form 5; proof of CIDB grading; authority to sign; tax and company documentation.
