Requirements

• CIDB grading: 4SI or higher (JV rules apply as specified in the tender).
• CIDB status: active throughout bidding.
• Valid CIDB certificate or CRS number.
• SANAS-accredited lift mechanic(s) employed or contracted (designated lift mechanic certificate required).
• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include proof; tax matters in order (SARS PIN or CSD status).
• Complete and sign: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; Form of Offer and Acceptance; POPIA consent.
• Returnable documents: priced Bills of Quantities and Final Summary; project references (at least 3); record of addenda; certificate of authority for JV (if applicable).
• Insurance/Performance Bond: insurer undertaking to provide bond/security as per DPW policy.
• Brand names: where specified, provide an equivalent or better item.
• Local content: aim to maximize EC-based sourcing of materials.
• Health & safety: evidence of competency/resources per Construction Regulations 2014.
