Overview

Procurement of a service provider to rent water dispensers and supply purified drinking water to ATNS FAEL and FAUT on an as-and-when-required basis for five years. Eligible bidders should have proven experience in water-dispenser rental, bottled water supply, ongoing maintenance, and compliance with SA drinking-water standards (SANS 241) and health/safety requirements, with the ability to operate at ATNS sites in East London and Mthatha (FAEL/FAUT).

Requirements

• SARS Tax Compliance PIN, valid for 60 days from submission.
• Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or proof of application; separate proof for JV/consortia as applicable.
• Locality footprint for Eastern Cape (Municipality bill/lease/title deed or local partner MOUs).
• Minimum of two referenc e letters in water dispenser rental and purified-water supply (past 5 years, on client letterhead, with scope and contact details).
• Proof of B-BBEE status or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs) and related CSD/CIPC documentation.
• Bid submitted in two parcels via online e-Tender (Parcel A: Administrative; Parcel B: Price & Specific Goals) with all required SBDs (e.g., SBD 3.3, SBD 6.1) and supporting documents (CSD report, CIPC docs, shareholder certificates, IDs).
• Compliance with water quality and safety requirements (SANS 241, DoH regulations) and ability to provide maintenance, service reports, and safety documentation.
• Acceptance of ATNS contract terms, including indemnity insurance, confidentiality, and GCC-based remedies.
