Overview

Procurement of a service provider to provide short-term insurance on municipality assets for a period of three years. Bidders should be licensed SA insurers or brokers (FSCA-accredited) with municipal-risk insurance experience and the ability to place cover across the listed classes (e.g., buildings, contents, motor fleet, liability, business interruption, SASRIA). Requirements

• Copy of Company Registration Certificate (CRC) showing active members.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; provide CSD number (JV: all parties must be registered).
• SARS Unique PIN for tax profile/view; or Tax Clearance Status (TCS) per SARS, including separate TCS/PIN/CSD for JV/subcontractors.
• Municipal rates and taxes clearance or proof rates/taxes not in arrears for more than three months.
