Overview

Appointment of a service provider to hire and maintain an electronic management system for COID (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases) claims for twelve months. The system is to serve the City of Johannesburg’s core departments and eleven municipal entities; bidders should have IT/software development capabilities and demonstrated COID claims management experience.

Requirements

• Suitably qualified in Information Technology and computer software development or employ a suitably qualified systems developer.
• Directors must possess a bachelor’s degree in information technology.
• Demonstrate 3–5 years’ COID claims management experience.
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the City of Johannesburg supplier database.
• Valid Tax Clearance or SARS PIN; VAT registration status.
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements; availability of required forms and certifications as specified in the RFQ.
