Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply, deliver, configure camera systems and upgrade the access control. Open-tender issued by the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ). Targeted bidders are those with a B-BBEE status Level 1 to 3.

Requirements

• B-BBEE eligibility: Level 1–3 status required to tender.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price vs. preference after compliance and functionality; minimum 70% on functionality to proceed.
• Submission must be sealed, endorsed with Contract MO/ADM/539/26, and deposited in the RBIDZ Tender Box.
• Tender fee: non-refundable R500 (payable to RBIDZ); obtain the RFP by emailing tenders@rbidz.co.za with company details.
• Documents to submit: obtain and complete the RFP documents per RBIDZ instructions; include the tender number and description.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 28 August 2026 at 12:00; tenders opened publicly at that time.
• Submission method: personally deposit in the official Tender Box at RBIDZ Complex, 4 Harbour Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay.
• Documents to obtain/submit: RFP documents available 28 July–11 August 2026 after payment; request via tenders@rbidz.co.za (subject: MO/ADM/539/26). Include proof of payment and contact details.
• Preliminary/briefing: No briefing session or site inspection (document reference: Bid Invitation -MO_ADM_539_26.pdf..pdf).
• Additional notes: RBIDZ reserves right to accept any Tender or part thereof; telegraphic, telex, email, and late submissions are not accepted.
