Overview

The South African State Theatre invites bids to appoint a service provider to collect, refill and deliver Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and refrigerant gases for a 36-month period. Bidders should have capabilities in LPG supply, gas cylinder refilling, safe delivery, and regulatory compliance for transport of dangerous goods (e.g., PrDP with Dangerous Goods endorsement, SANS 10087 compliance), plus necessary supplier registration (CSD) and tax/compliance credentials.

Requirements

• Administrative and compliance documents
• Proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
• Completed SBD forms: SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1 (and SBD7 if long-term contract required)
• Company documentation: CK/CIPC, ID copies for directors, SARS Tax Pin or CSD number, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, certified share certificate, POPIA consent, GCC initials
• Mandatory qualifications
  • Drivers: valid Professional Driving Permits (PrDP) with Dangerous Goods endorsement for all drivers
  • LPG filling facility: compliance with SANS 10087-3 and/or SANS 10087-7; Certificate of Compliance (CoC) or inspection certificate
  • Transport vehicles: roadworthiness and compliance for transporting dangerous goods (signage, fire-fighting equipment, cylinder securing)
• Site inspection: premises and vehicle compliance verification
• Evaluation: 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals (per Annexure F); adherence to PPPFA regulations
