Overview

Appointment of a service provider to compile the 2025/2026 Water Services Development Plan (WSDP) and Water Services Audit Report for Bergrivier Municipality. Competent bidders with experience in municipal water planning, WSDP development, water services auditing, asset management, and related regulatory reporting should bid.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing WSDPs and Water Services Audit Reports per the Department of Water and Sanitation templates, with at least three references.
• Compliance registrations: registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a CSD number (MAAA prefix) and a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or SARS Tax Clearance.
• B-BBEE: submit an original B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to qualify for preference points.
• Documentation: complete MBD forms and annexures (MBD1, MBD3.2, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10, GCC) and the Pricing Schedule.
• VAT: prices must include VAT; pricing must be fixed and valid for 120 days.
• Additional: no bids from persons in the state; provide three references; provide recent municipal accounts for the company and directors.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 19 August 2026 at 12:00. Bids in sealed envelopes must be placed in the Bergrivier Municipal tender box at 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg (FQ MN171-2026). Bids opened publicly.
• Documents to submit (as applicable): MBD forms and pricing schedule; Declaration of Interests; BBBEE; MBD7 (contract), MBD8, MBD9, MBD10; GCC. (see FQ MN171-2026)
• Submissions must include: CSD number and TCS PIN or tax clearance; original BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; recent municipal accounts; signed acceptance of terms.
