Overview

Appointment of a service provider to conduct a Business Environment Index for strategic industrial-economic nodes in Endumeni Local Municipality within the Umzinyathi District Municipality for a period of 9 months. This is a KwaZulu-Natal EDTEA RFQ targeting economic development/BEI research, data analysis and related professional services; suitable for consultancies with BEI methodology, data collection and municipal-research capabilities, including provision of personnel CVs as per Annexure C. Requirements

• Minimum functionality score of 60% to progress in evaluation.
• Submit all compulsory returnable documents and completed bid forms (SBD 1, SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, etc.) and Annexures.
• Register on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) or provide a CSD number; where relevant, provide separate TCS/PIN per party in a JV/consortium.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN and/or a printed Tax Compliance Status certificate; ensure compliance for all parties in consortia/JVs.
• Not in the service of the state; no directors in the state service; sign contract if successful (SBD7).
• Ownership Demographic Schedule and SBD 6.1 to claim specific preference goals (Women, Geographical Location in KZN) with supporting documents.
• Prices must be firm; provide pricing in the required schedules (Firm Prices for goods; Professional Services pricing schedule).
