Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO CONDUCT A FASHION MANUFACTURING SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR TWENTY (20) MSMEs WITHIN THE CLOTHING AND TEXTILE INDUSTRY FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS. This opportunity targets service providers with experience in fashion/manufacturing skills training, capable of delivering a 6-month programme to 20 MSMEs in the clothing and textile sector.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver a fashion manufacturing skills training programme (refer Annexure A, ANNEXURE B).
• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and/or Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) with SARS; provide CSD number or TCS certificate (each party in a consortium must have separate TCS/CSD) (see Section B and Section D).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN or TCS certificate; comply with SARS requirements; ensure no disqualifying state-affiliations (Section B, Section F).
• Complete and submit official bid forms: SBD 1, SBD 3, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1, plus required annexures and the official briefing/site inspection certificate (Section B; Annexures A–E).
• Attend the mandatory briefing session/site inspection (12 Oct 2026, 12:00, 270 Jabu Ndlovu Street) (Q 24 EDTEA 26/27 QUOTATION DOCUMENT -PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.pdf).
• Sign a written contract (SBD7) if successful; adhere to GCC, PPPFA/SCM regulations (Section B).
• Pricing must be firm and valid for 60 days; provide a detailed pricing schedule and man-day rates (Pricing Schedule – Firm Prices) (Section F).
