Appointment of a service provider to conduct Helichrysum lesliei monitoring at SAFCOL Uitsoek Plantation for the 2026/27 period. The engagement targets a registered Natural Scientist (SACNASP) to survey the endangered Helichrysum lesliei, prepare a repeatable monitoring methodology and final report with recommendations for forestry and biodiversity management, and to deliver a pre-arranged feedback session (Teams). Start is on receipt of a Purchase Order, with site visits pre-arranged via the SHEQ/Plantation Manager; responses due by 17 August 2026. Requirements

• SACNASP registration for the project leader/lead scientist and proof with quotation.
• Proof of current, up-to-date SACNASP registration; experience in Environmental/Ecological/Conservation science; minimum one reference letter.
• Compliance documents: SBD forms signed; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; Tax Clearance; CSD registration with supplier number and unique reference; ensure CSD data is current.
• Past monitoring experience in the last five years.
• Breakdown of costs in the quotation; include markers and photos as part of deliverables.
• If bidding as a JV/Consortium, consolidated BEE certification.
• Disqualification risks include tax non-compliance, false disclosures, restricted suppliers, and non-compliance with the specification.
