Overview

Procurement of a service provider to conduct security/pre-employment screening for Deeds Registration Trading Entity (DRTE) for six months. Bidder should have capabilities in biometric fingerprint checks, citizenship and residence verification, criminal and credit checks, qualifications and references verification, PSIRA, driver’s license verification, and a web-based background screening system with offline functionality, training for users, and ongoing support. The contract includes a reporting and investigative capability for internal DRTE needs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in security/pre-employment screening; provide at least three contract completion certificates/testimonials on client letterhead.
• Ability to supply a web-based background screening system with offline functionality; deliver monthly comprehensive management reports.
• Training for departmental staff (35 users) every three months for six months; fingerprints readers provided at inception; ongoing support and maintenance.
• Background checks scope includes Citizenship Verification, Residence/Work Permits, Qualifications, Criminal Records, Employment references, Credit records, and comprehensive Business Interests Reports (including SARS VAT checks).
• Compliance: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; SARS tax status; VAT registration; submit bank details matching CSD; prices VAT inclusive; attach full CSD report.
• Complete Pricing Schedule, accompany with official quotation and SBD forms; provide proof/references; no reliance on LOAs/POs as proof of experience.
