Overview

Procurement of a service provider to renovate the Megabags facility at UmkhondenI, including civil, stormwater, brickwork, carpentry, roller shutters and cladding works. Suitable for building refurbishment contractors with CIDB Grade 1GB or higher and relevant health, safety and statutory qualifications.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: active Grade 1GB or higher.
• Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; CSD registration if applicable; separate PINs for JV/consortia.
• Legal/registration documents: company registration (CIPC); SBD 1 and SBD 4 completed; attendance at compulsory site briefing (records required).
• Insurance: Public liability insurance (min R2,000,000) or equivalent proof of capability.
• Site readiness: COIDA good standing or equivalent; valid declarations to avoid disqualification.
• Returnable documents: CVs for key personnel; method statement and project programme; CIDB details; proof of good standing.
• Preference: claim points for specific goals (Black ownership, Women, Youth, People with disabilities) with certified documentation.
