Overview

The KwaZulu-Natal EDTEA invites a service provider to facilitate and develop the Information Governance (IG) Strategy for Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs for a 12-month period. The project is a Request for Quotation open to firms with IG strategy development, information governance, records management, and related professional services. Requirements

• Minimum functionality score of 60% to progress in evaluation. (Quotation Document - Q 29 EDTEA 26/27.pdf)
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN or a printed Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate; if in a consortium, each party must have a TCS/PIN or CSD number. (Section B)
• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) at bid time; disqualification if not registered. (Section D, E)
• Complete and submit compulsory forms and returnable documents: SBD 1 (Parts A & B), Pricing Schedule (SBD 3), Quotation Offer, Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4), Preference Points Form (SBD 6.1), ownership demographic schedule, CVs; authority to sign. (Sections A–I, N)
• Professional accreditation for IG/records management frameworks may be required or beneficial (e.g., ISO 24143, ISO 15489, ISO 30300, ISO 27000, ARMA, DAMA, etc). (Section K)
