Overview

Appointment of a service provider to implement Business Continuity Management Services for SASSETA through 31 March 2030, aligned to ISO 22301:2019 and BCI guidelines. Bidders should be BCMS specialists with senior certifications, and able to deliver across SASSETA’s Midrand and satellite offices (Newcastle, Durban).

Requirements

• Mandatory team qualifications and CVs: Annexure B (Team Leader) and Annexure C (two additional members) with 3+ years BCMS consulting each; Team Leader to hold MB Leadership (NQF8+), ISO 22301 PECB Senior Lead Implementor or MBCI, PM certificate, IRMSA membership, SAQA verification for international credentials; First Member to hold BML (NQF7+) and AMBCI; Second Member to hold ITIL, Prince2/PMBOK/Agile, COBIT.
• Deliverables and standards: ISO 22301, BCI GPG v7, COBIT Environment; inception report, BIA per department, risk assessment, BCM strategy/policy, updated BCP/DRP, testing plans, training, maintenance.
• References and compliance: minimum of three client reference letters; complete all SBD forms (SBD1, SBD3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1); CSD registration with a copy of the CSD report; sign GCC (Annexure A).
• Scope and duration: contract through 31 March 2030; budget cap around R50 million; compulsory 1st-year testing cadence and bi-annual activity in subsequent years.
• Evaluation: 70% minimum functionality threshold; 80/20 preference points (price 80, specific goals 20).
