Overview

Appointment of a service provider to operate the SABC canteen facility at the Western Cape Provincial Office for three years. This targets catering/food-service providers with capabilities in food hygiene, OHS, and BBBEE compliance.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
• Proof of valid TV License for the company and all active directors/shareholders
• Valid SARS Tax Clearance or PIN
• Original or certified BBBEE certificate (SANAS-accredited)
• Certified copy of company registration (name, registration number, date, active directors)
• Certified copies of shareholders’ certificates and directors’ IDs
• Valid food-handling/health certificate (issued by local authority) at bid close
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards
• Service model: bidder provides crockery/cutlery; SABC-owned equipment; management fee aligned with CPI
• Scope includes daily varied menus; breakfast (06:30–10:30), lunch (12:00–15:00), Health Bar and Coffee Bar; halal-friendly practices
