Overview

MHSC invites bids for a service provider to perform minor theming, maintain and provide support for the MHSC website and the MHSC e-Library for 36 months. The contract targets web development/maintenance specialists with WordPress and PHP expertise on a LAMP stack, able to deliver 24/7 monitoring, backups, security patches, SEO, analytics, training, and monthly support (40 hours/month). Preference will be given under the PFMA framework, including B-BBEE considerations and specific goals.

Requirements

• Demonstrable WordPress/PHP development experience; attach CVs and verifiable references (5+ letters)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Honours/Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or related) and a company profile showing 5+ years in website support/maintenance
• Compliance: registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number; tax matters in order
• Staffing and service scope: 40 hours/month support, 24/7 monitoring, training for MHSC CMS users, monthly analytics, quarterly project meetings, disaster recovery, 99.99% uptime
• Technical deliverables: theming, SEO, new functionality, analytics, production of SEO/monthly reports, e-book and survey modules, regular backups
• Documentation: complete mandatory forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and fully completed pricing (SBD 3); contract form (SBD 7) on award
• Preferences: B-BBEE status with points for specific goals (e.g., black ownership, black women ownership, youth), supported by valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
