Overview

Appointment of a service provider to plan, organise and manage the 2027 National Gambling Conference and provide end-to-end event management, conferencing and coordination services. The National Gambling Board seeks a specialist to deliver RSVP, delegate communications, conference collateral design/production, AV, registration, MC, on-site management and post-event reporting for a two-day conference in KwaZulu-Natal, with hosting partner KZNERA. The contract covers pre-planning to close-out over about four months, for an indicative 250–350 delegates, within a 180-day bid validity window, with a closing date of 24 November 2026. Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) before submission
• Must attend the compulsory briefing session (12 November 2026) and sign the attendance register
• Bid submissions in two separate envelopes: Technical and Financial; use official GCC/SCC forms; provide a company resolution authorising signatory
• Tax and supplier compliance: SARS tax PIN/TCS or CSD number; comply with PFMA, BBBEE and PPPFA requirements; not a state employee or prohibited from bidding
• Functional/track-record criteria: demonstrated end-to-end conference management experience with reference letters; detailed project plan and past performance evidence; two-envelope evaluation process
• All priced proposals must be inclusive of VAT and aligned to the SBD 3.3 pricing format; non-duplication of venue costs is required
