Overview

Appointment of a service provider to procure raw materials for four detergent centres. Bidders should be capable suppliers of bulk chemical materials with VAT registration and ability to deliver to four specified centres (Kwamashu, Gamalakhe, Esikhawini, Madadeni) under a single contract, and meet South African procurement and tax-compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and in good standing with SARS (PIN/TCS) (or provide CSD number if no TCS).
• Submit on official forms: SBD 1 (with resolution), SBD 4 (declaration of interest), and sign SBD 7 contract; ensure all pages are complete.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN; separate TCS for each consortium/partner; if no TCS but CSD-listed, provide CSD number.
• Preferential procurement: documentation to claim points for Black Ownership, Women Ownership, Youth Ownership, and Disability Ownership (where applicable).
• Pricing and delivery: provide per-centre unit prices and total costs; VAT included; delivery to four addresses listed in the specification.
• Contract framework: award based on Ithala’s SLA; terms not negotiable; bid may be awarded in full or part.
• Submissions must be made by the stated deadline; late bids will not be accepted.
