Appointment of a Service Provider to Provide a New Integrated Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual Solution for SAPS UBUNYE Auditorium

Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply and install a new integrated video conferencing and audiovisual solution for SAPS Ubunye Auditorium, including deployment, testing, training and decommissioning of the current system. The contract covers AV/VC hardware and software, installation, network integration, control system, maintenance/training, and decommissioning at SAPS Ubunye Auditorium, Parktown, Gauteng. Bidders should have AV integration/VC expertise, and be an OEM/OSM or an accredited partner/distributor for the proposed solution. Briefing is mandatory and bidders must be registered on the CSD and comply with SARS tax requirements.

Requirements

• The bidder must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Original Software Manufacturer (OSM), or an accredited Partner/Reseller/Distributor of the proposed VC/AV solution, with proof dated within 12 months. (Annex A requirement in Final Bid Spec)
• Demonstrate experience installing, maintaining and supporting at least two VC/AV projects in the last five years; provide referees on company letterhead with scope and dates.
• Accept all Special Conditions of Contract and General Conditions; sign the Declaration of Compliance and Acceptance.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/CSD registration; provide TCS where applicable; ensure no disqualifying conflicts.
• Attend the compulsory briefing (05 November 2026, 10:00) and be registered on the National Treasury’s CSD; submit all SBD returnables as specified. (See documents: Final Bid Spec.docx, SBD forms in the Standard Bidding Document)
