Overview

Procurement of catering services (including basic décor) for the IDFC Women’s Day event by Ithala Development Finance Corporation. Bidders should be catering service providers with relevant event-catering experience, capacity to serve ~200 people, and ability to supply halal options. Submissions are via bid box or email.

Requirements

• CSD registration as a vendor and SARS tax compliance (PIN) or provide a CSD number if no PIN; separate TCS/PIN where a consortium/joint venture is involved.
• Submit SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and SBD 1 (Invitation to bid with resolution). If awarded, sign SBD 7 (contract form).
• Tax clearance/tax compliance requirements apply; CSD status verified prior to award.
• Evaluation uses two stages: Administrative Compliance, then Price and Preference (80/20).
• Preference points: 80/20 system with 20 total for Specific Goals: ≥51% Black Ownership, ≥51% Women Ownership, ≥51% Youth Ownership, ≥51% People living with disability Ownership (5 points each).
• The contract will be governed by an SLA; Ithala’s terms are not negotiable.
• Sourcing must avoid conflicts of interest; non-compliance may disqualify.
