Overview

Procurement of a service provider to deliver Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) including Maritime Safety Information (MSI) and COSPAS-SARSAT ground segment services under SOLAS for the COSPAS-SARSAT programme, for the Department of Transport, for five years. Bidders with maritime communications/GMDSS expertise, SOLAS compliance, and LEOSAR/MEOSAR ground-segment capability should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Experience delivering GMDSS and MSI services for COSPAS-SARSAT programmes.
• Capability to provide LEOSAR/MEOSAR ground segment services and data handling.
• SOLAS compliance and adherence to relevant international standards.
• Ability to deliver over the full five-year term with required performance, reporting, and security commitments.
